Project Description

The services consists of all services necessary for the management and delivery of Phases 5, 6 and 7 of the NRA 2010 Project Management Guidelines in relation to the N22 Tralee Bypass / Tralee to Bealagreallagh Road Improvement Scheme. The Scheme has two main components, namely the N22 Tralee Bypass and the N22 Access Route (Tralee to Bealagrellagh). The N22 Tralee Bypass will link the N69 Listowel Road with the N70 Killorglin Road via the N21 Limerick Road. It will comprise a ‘Type 2 Dual Carriageway’ road and will be approximately 8.00km in length.

The N22 Tralee to Bealagrellagh section will provide a separate access route for the N22 Killarney Road and will comprise a Standard 2-Lane single carriageway road and will be approximately 5.5km in length. The Works include the construction of 5 roundabouts and 5 principal structures (1 River Bridge, 1 Railway Bridge, 1 underbridge and 2 overbridges). The scheme also involves the associated construction of side roads, earthworks, drainage, ducting, accommodation works, landscaping, lighting signing and ancillary works.
